RAMSES being used to operate satellites

Satellite Operations

OHB Sweden has a strong, and rather unique, heritage of not only designing, building and testing satellites, but also running the operations onsite at our Mission Control Centre (MCC) onsite at OHB Sweden’s premises in Kista, Sweden. The rich heritage list of satellites being operated by OHB Sweden all the way from LEOP, IOC, nominal operations to deorbit, include amongst others Odin, PRISMA (multi-satellite operations) and GMS-T. The MCC runs on OHB Sweden’s own inhouse developed Mission Control System (MCS) called RAMSES (which is also used throughout the entire AIT phase). The expertise from OHB Sweden varies from conventional operations of single payload LEO missions to complex multi-mission support with a large variety of payloads requiring careful planning, highly skilled operators and flawless infrastructure and tools.

Besides operating its own satellites, OHB Sweden has experience in offering specific subsystem (such as AOCS) LEOP operations support to external customers (e.g. EDRS-C).
